Rhino’s Sweet 16

Rhino's celebrated 16 years as an innovative youth media center and all-ages music club with our 2nd annual fundraiser at Oliver Winery on Friday, April 25.

Rhino's would like to thank our generous sponsors:

The evening featured fantastic music from Jenn Cristy, the genial Tom Roznowski as master of ceremonies, and the beautiful surroundings of the Oliver Winery.

Rhino's was pleased to offer great food from local restaurants, including:

The evening's various fundraising efforts also included the first (and hopefully last) Rhino's Debutante Challenge. Rhino's Director Brad Wilhelm dressed in a formal ball gown to perform a special musical number chosen especially for the event.

Rhino's Sweet 16 also featured the first-ever Rhino's GuitArt Auction.

Rhino's GuitArt Auction

We gave 6 electric guitars to some outstanding local artists and asked them to create a special work of art to benefit Rhino's. The result are some amazing -- and completely functional -- works of art.

The artists who generously donated their talents:

All of the GuitArt were on display at Roadworthy Guitar & Amp, just off the square at 115 S. Walnut Street, up to the day of Rhino's Sweet 16.

Lindsay Hine Joel Washington Jet One

Three of our six playable works of GuitArt -- by artists Lindsay Hine, Joel Washington, and Jet One. They are all fully painted on backs and necks, too!
